Indicate which actions have been carried out to implement this Resolution : 
Policy influencing/advocacy
Describe the results/achievements of the actions taken: 
- In October of 2018 Hawaii State Governor David Ige visited Mo'omomi Moloka'i to discuss the Mo'omom Community-based Subsistence Fishing Area rules and when they could begin hearings. In 2019 two more communities are expected to submit their proposals to the state for their own CBSFA's in Kipahulu (Maui) and Miloli'i (Hawaii island).
- A letter from the Director General has been prepared to send to state policymakers in Hawaii and will be sent out in early 2019.
What challenges/obstacles have been encountered in the implementation of this Resolution and how were they overcome : 
The DG letter was delayed due to the mid-term elections and changes in leadership in Hawaii, and it was decided it was more strategic to send the letters to the incoming policymakers in early 2019.
Briefly describe what future actions are needed for the implementation of this Resolution: 
- The DG letter needs to be sent out.
- In 2019 two more communities are expected to submit their proposals to the state for their own CBSFA's in Kipahulu (Maui) and Miloli'i (Hawaii island).
