The IUCN project "Integrated Planning for Climate Change and Biodiversity" https://www.iucn.org/theme/environmental-law/our-work/land-use/integrated-planning-climate-change-and-biodiversity which was implemenented by IUCN South America in coordination with the National entity responsible of the management of protected areas in Colombia (Parques Nacionales Naturales de Colombia) and the National Planning Directorate implemented some activities related with the "Support for peace and nature in Colombia". Among these activities were developed: annual workshops (2017-2018) in which were presented experiences, from Colombia and from other countries (El Salvador, Guatemala, Congo and South Africa), that showed the relevance of considering conflict management for getting successful conservation results. There were also promoted spaces to discuss the "Post Conflict" process in Colombia; and how important is to consider this issue for land use planning processes at local, regional and national levels.
In the frame of the "Integrated Planning for Climate Change and Biodiversity" project land use planning guidelines were developed for Colombia (Integrando las Áreas Protegidas al Ordenamiento Territorial) https://portals.iucn.org/library/sites/library/files/documents/2018-051-Es.pdf. This guideliness mention the need to include a "post conflict" vision for land use planning processes.
In addition, a member of the Commission on Ecosystems Management worked in raising awareness and educating people (from different backgrounds) about the close relationship between the peace agreement and the sustainable management of Colombian natural resources. These activities were developed in Corantioquia, which is the environmental agency of 80 municipalities in Antioquia Region. The member of the Commission also participated in several open talks for general public on sustainable development and disaster risk reduction where were considered different topics related with the peace agreement.

Challenges/obstacles encountered in the implementation of this Resolution and measures taken
1. The peace process in Colombia is a challenge which has to be considered in Land Use Planning processes, since it involves displaced people which are returning to their territories in which they use to lived before the conflict.
2. Specific actions, at the national level, in the frame of the "Peace agreement" are still being defined.
3. There is a general lack of trust in governmental initiatives related to the peace agreement, especially in Antioquia since there are several powerful actors that are against the agreement and that at the same time have strong influence in the antioquian population.

Future actions / activities needed for the implementation of this Resolution
Continuing the open talks for general public on sustainable development and disaster risk reduction where we will keep addressing the close relationship of those topics and the peace agreement. Additionally we are planning on organizing a public forum on the relationship of the peace agreement with disaster risk reduction. The goal is to develop the forum in a big public venue.
