Field activitiesEl proyecto IAPA, ejecutado por UICN SUR, trabaja en las ásrea protegidas de Purús y Alto Purús, fortaleciendo al SERNANP y a las comunidades indígenas y locales que habitan en el área. Se les ha capacitado en gobernanza en APs y transformación de conflictos socio-ambientales, siendo la construcción de la carretera el tema más conflictivo identificado por los propios actores.Completed

15 actores del SERNANP (incluidos los jefes de área),PRO-Purús, comunidades locales e indígenas han sido capacitadas en gobernanza en APs y transformación de conflictos socio-ambientales. Dos de ellas, un guardaparque y la Presidenta del Comité de Gestión del Parque Nacional Purús, han sido formados adicionalmente como promotores locales de gobernanza, con la finalidad de replicar activamente en terreno los conocimientos adquiridos.
