Describe the results/achievements of the actions taken: 
- The IUCN Secretariat recruited an IP Programme Officer - Anita Tzec - to help drive the work forward.
- IP Learning Exchange gathering all IUCN IPO Members took place in Guatemala in May 2019.
- IUCN Director General’s Statement on International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples 2019
- Latin American Parks Congress: IPs part of the organizing committee, level of participation of IPs at Congress and three statements from IPs coming out of the Congress.
- IP forum to take place at the World Conservation Congress in 2020, a meeting will be held in preparation for the Forum in February.
- In December 2019, the GEF Council approved their new work program which includes a new global project focusing on IPLC-led conservation efforts. The IUCN Secretariat and Conservation International will serve as joint Implementing Agencies for this global project, entitled "Inclusive Conservation Initiative (ICI)".
- Support by CEESP and IUCN Secretariat to the Meeting of the Facilitating Working Group of the Local Communities and Indigenous Peoples Platform (LCIPP), in the context of the UNFCCC COP25, which was held in Madrid from 27-30 November 2019.
- Activity reports describe other local-level activities from other Commissions and IUCN Members in specific countries, such as the organization of "Mother Language Day" in India and various actions with First Nations in Canada.

What challenges/obstacles have been encountered in the implementation of this Resolution and how were they overcome : 
The implementation of this Resolution seems to be going well and 2019 was a productive and succesful year with the recruitment of the IP Programme Officer and the securing of funding from GEF for the Inclusive Conservation Initiative. Further capacity is needed for the continued implementation of the IPO strategy and organization of the IP summit and other related activities at the Congress in June.
Briefly describe what future actions are needed for the implementation of this Resolution: 
Efforts continue to strenghten the role of indigenous cultures in conservation efforts. In 2020, the main focus will be on engaging IPOs in WCC 2020, in the form of the IP summit, Congress sessions and plenaries, and other related activities and initiatives. Preparations for the implementation of the Inclusive Conservation Initiative, funded by the GEF, will continue throughout 2020.
