Education/Communication/Raising awarenessWorld Environment Day was celebrated with school students in a remote area in the Western Ghats by a rally, while students carried placards and wearing face masks highlighting the theme , Beat Air Pollution. The public numbering more than 1,000 witnessed the rally. As a mark to green the planet Earth, students planted tree saplings as a Carbon Neutrality Initiative. About 1,000 palmyra seeds (Borassus flabellifer ) were planted at a coastal village, Pallam to protect the marine environment from sea erosion and provide ideal nesting ground for Olive Ridley turtle and as a carbon neutrality initiative . Result : Many people from the public witnessed the rally, that sensitized them to refrain from polluting the Earth. Students learnt the need to green the earth as a carbon neutrality initiative. What challenges have you encountered in implementing this Resolution and what measures have you taken to overcome them?: 
We have to get permission from the police department and police protection , education department to organize the rally, which are tedious tasks.
