Meeting regularly has strengthened our knowledge of each other and shared experiences of our regional committees.

The activvities of the Global Group (incl. IUCN Council representation) and the Committees of Members they represent has raised awareness of National and Regional Committees within the framework of the IUCN organisation.

Lack of financial resources to enable biannual face to face meetings.

1. The Global Directory of National and Regional Committees was reviewed.
2. The Global Group have so far met 11 times since its formation in 2016 via Skype. All regions are represented within the group and report on activities in their region.
3. The Global Group received reports from its members on their Regional Conservation Fora.
4. Preparation for the 2nd meeting of all National and Regional Committees
