Description and results/achievements of activities:
IUCN GMPP did a filed visit to the Antarctic Peninsula in October 2019 together with the Antarctica Forum of China. China and Russia are the main countries opposing further expansion of the Antarctica MPA network. The purpose of this visit was to explain the need for Antarctic marine Conservation to influential parties in CHina.
