Capacity-buildingWith Friends of EbA, defining the first qualification criteria and quality standards for Ecosystem-based Adaptation, i.e. NbS for climate change adaptation (https://www.iucn.org/sites/dev/files/feba_eba_qualification_and_quality_criteria_final_en.pdf). The CBD Secretariat, in a Note by the Executive Secretary (CBD/SBSTTA/22/8) acknowledged that in developing the first criteria and standards for EbA, FEBA has “improved the outcome potential of EbA interventions worldwide”. This document was a cornerstone in informing the development of the Global NbS Standard launched in 2020.Completed
