Describe the results/achievements of the activities

- Training of French actors during the French national meetings on biodiversity in environmental policing issues - including some French members of the IUCN

- Ongoing work with partners in addressing environmental crime and whistleblowers in eg UNCAC, UNTOC ICCWCC

Challenges/obstacles encountered in the implementation of this Resolution and measures taken

- Further engagement from IUCN Commissions is required to mobilise actions on this Resolution

- Specific funding is required to fund the involvement of IUCN in trainings, meetings and other related activities.

- IUCN Secretariat has the potential to mobilise this area further and create a specific unit in charge of coordinating actions with UNTOC and UNCAC only through project funding.

Future actions / activities needed for the implementation of this Resolution

- Further engagement with key IUCN Commission Members

- Development of concept notes to potentially fund topic related projects
