| Education/Communication/Raising awareness | Project Learning Tree Canada (PLT Canada), an initiative of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), developed nine online courses with Sault College focusing on Indigenous Rights and Relationship Building in the forest sector. The goal of the courses is to provide the forest sector with training, guidance, resources, and supports that will promote respectful relationship building and greater understanding, recognition, and respect for Indigenous Peoples’ rights, traditional knowledge, representative institutions, and distinctive relationships with the forest. | Completed | Full activity report |

Describe the results/achievements of the activities
IUCN under its Program on Indigenous Peoples and Conservation under the Human Rights in Conservation Team has been working on the implementation of the GEF-Funded Inclusive Conservation Initiative. This is a 5 year initiative that puts indigenous leadership at the forefront of conservation actions. The ICI seeks to promote the direct access of financing for Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities to scale-up their conservation actions and contribution to the conservation of biodiversity, leading to global biodiversity benefits.
