Many interesting and endangered plant species were discovered, systematically preserved, and documented for future scientific references. Students were trained on the fundamental and applied aspects in biodiversity and conservation. In addition, the research findings were also shared with other students and lecturers in the department.
What challenges have you encountered in implementing this Resolution and what measures have you taken to overcome them?:
Significant barriers that prevent the participation of youths in biodiversity and conservation venture include a lack of communication and awareness on biodiversity. One way to overcome this was by promoting the importance of biodiversity through an interactive field study, includes addressing practical questions, revealing mysteries or hidden wonders about nature.
