Description and results/achievements of activities:
The delivery of mentorship for young professionals to create networks and build skills in supporting a meaningful green career pathway. SFI is passionate about delivering the PLT Green Mentor program that connects young professionals with professionals in the green jobs sector for a multi-month mentorship program. The program provides training and growth opportunities for mentees and mentors.

This program has been instrumental in creating connections for young adults through COVID-19 and continue to positively impact both the mentees and mentors in their career development.

SFI, through the PLT Green Mentor program has supported over 550 mentorship participants since 2020 to support building a diverse and resilient workforce. One specific example is the delivery of the World Forestry Congress Green Mentor program in 2021-2022 that supported 100 mentorship pairs globally in a 6-month mentorship program.
