Have disseminated the the resolution widely including highlighting whistleblowers and their connection to environmental defenders. The resolution has been cited in numerous articles and papers. Secretariat focal point JAckie Siles has all these materials and others in IUCN and relevant Commissions.

continuing efforts in relevant fora to address environmental defenders AND whistleblowers including he UN Human Rights Council Special Special Rapporteur on environmental defenders and UNCAC.

resources and capacity. IUCN restructuring and capacity and clear management focus and lack of and IUCN Human Rights Council strategy. Names Commisions support in implemneting the resolution. Communiccations have happended with WCEL icluding the WCEL focal point but noe wiht CEC to date. Recognition of whistleblowers supporting environmental defenders aand that they are and can be defenders.
Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken
NWCcommented on the UN Human Right Commission Special Rapporteur for environmental defenders and their anti-corruption work. Thees comments were taken on board and the role of whistleblowers is fully addressed in the report which we have shared widely. Jackie has the report.

Hopefully work with CEC, WCEL and CEESP on the the campaign the resolution calls on them to initiate to promote and support the work of environmental defenders and whistleblowers.
