Scientific/technical activities | CEM NbS Thematic Group study is leading an initiative to implement the NbS Global Standard in 23 case-studies around the globe. All research team have gone through guidance and a short training on how to implement the self-assessment tool in their own context, in the following countries: USA, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, Peru, Kenya, India, China, New Caledonia, Indonesia, New Zeeland, Australia, Austria, UK, France, Italy, Greece, Algeria, Spain and Portugal. All people involved have all written their case study that will be published in a CEM publication. This project allows different stakeholders groups to get to know the Global Standard for NbS, get the support to understand it and implement it, improve their own NbS interventions and scale up the NbS in their region. In addition, this work will provide insight into how NbS is implemented in the different regions, how NbS is understood, and will provide specific feedback about the Self-Assessment Tool that will support the International Standard Committee, and will feed the next revision of the Global Standard. | On-going |
