Scientific/technical activitiesWCPA collaborated with the IUCN Climate Crisis Commission on the production of a technical brief, Connecting the Dots: Achieving synergistic action for global biodiversity and climate goals utilising the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, to support COP28 decisions on protected areas and climate change. WCPA prepared other briefs – Role of PAs in climate change mitigation and biodiversity conservation, and Primary Forests, Ecosystem Integrity and Climate Change – to focus attention at COP28 on the importance of PCAs in the climate-biodiversity nexus.On-going
