Describe the results/achievements of the actions taken: 
- Establishment and inauguration of the Atiwa West District CREMA Executive Committee in September 2024. The Executives which include a fire volunteer squad are expected to reinforce the shared goal of enhancing land and tree tenure policies for greater accountability and environmental stewardship. Devolution of Authority has been submitted to the Government for gazettement to fully establish the CREMA.
- 2 more CREMAs (The Atewa CREMA and the Ayensuano CREMA) are under development though functional.
- Implementation of the Ghana Cocoa Forest REDD+ Program with the establishment of 1 Hotspot Intervention Area in the Atewa landscape. The communities involved have received first and second Emission reduction payments.
-Planting of over 50,000 tree seedlings in June by A Rocha to restored degraded mined sites
- Establishment of 2 all year-round nurseries with capacity of raining over 100,000 seedlings each. These nurseries serve as employment for 8 permanent community representatives of which 6 are women and 2 men.
-Establishment of green value chain for Aframomum melegueta(grains of paradise) benefitting over 300 farmers in 50 communities.
- Establishment of a 2 storage facilities at the roofing level for the grains of paradise.
- Ecotourism: Establishment of a butterfly sanctuary as an education centre, Potential for developing trails for 2 waterfalls in collaboration with the US Forest Service
- Organic Cocoa farming for 271 farmers in collaboration with Yayra Glover. Certification is ongoing for the cocoa to attract premium pricing
- Other additional livelihoods include mushrooms and snails rearing
- Initiation of the World Bank Enable Project by Tropenbos Ghana


What challenges/obstacles have been encountered in the implementation of this Resolution and how were they overcome : 
Increase in illegal mining activities(galamsey) destroying community lands and eroding community commitment to secure and manage their community lands sustainably, health implications related to polluted water bodies, Court case on Governments position to mine bauxite in the Forest Reserve of Atewa
- Illegal logging backed by politicians
- Low level of commitment from the Government to protect the natural Resorces in Atewa
- Insufficient resources to restore degraded mined sites
- Bad behaviour of some communities engaged in illegalities such as mining and logging hence need for behaviour change
Briefly describe what future actions are needed for the implementation of this Resolution: 
- Establishment of a Conservation Trust Fund to serve as a revolving fund for CREMAs to promote their livelihoods
- In search of a dedicated Private Sector to purchase Aframomum melegueta at the community level on a large scale
- Fully develop ecotourism potential in the landscape such as trails for waterfalls and a bigger butterfly sanctuary
