Description and results/achievements of activities:
The Director General of IUCN convened the first meeting of the new Red List Partnership Committee in London during April 2024. This Resolution was discussed and the importance of raising resources for some of the product-critical activities was agreed. A consultant was hired to develop a resource mobilization strategy for the IUCN Red List. A campaign was launched in October to celebrate 12 months of the Red List @ 60 - and this will conclude at the World Conservation Congress. Awareness of the IUCN Red List was increased through side-events at the wildlife trade convention (CITES), biodiversity convention (CBD) and climate change (UNFCCC) convention meetings.
