Description and results/achievements of activities:
Doğa Derneği promotes agroecological practices within Indigenous Production Landscapes (IPLs), focusing on traditional farming methods that support biodiversity and sustainable agriculture. Our work highlights the integration of indigenous knowledge to create nature-based solutions, with a particular emphasis on pesticide-free farming and biodiversity-friendly practices.

Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken
Our efforts have successfully demonstrated agroecological practices as effective nature-based solutions. For example, in Orhanlı Valley in Türkiye, traditional olive oil production has supported biodiversity, benefiting species like golden jackals and European turtle doves. By selling products through Doğa’s Shop, we’ve provided a market for sustainable goods. Our presentations further raised awareness of agroecology. The upcoming IPL booklet will continue to promote these practices for wider adoption.
