Description and results/achievements of activities:
The IUCN is implementing and facilitating the Science Task Force of the UN Decade on Restoration, which aims to provide scientific advise for the UN Decade on Restoration, and the Task Forces on Monitoring and Best Practices. The Science Task Force is also working with the Flagships to overcome any scientific barrier they are facing in their implementation activiies.

The Science Task Force of the UN Decade on Restoration is formed by 22 members, mostly part of UN member organizations or part of the Commission on Ecosystem Management, and is working in developing a policy brief about the challenges and barriers for a successful UN Decade.
