There has been very little progress since the 2024 report. IUCN Secretariat is trying to promote the wildlife economy strategies in a number of countries in an effort to reduce dependence on bilateral donor funding and to help get more sustainable funding to the point of impact, to the local communities.
Future actions / activities needed for the implementation of this Resolution
IUCN ESARO will continue to promote regional wildlife economy strategies and to look for resources to support them in partnership with our members.
