Capacity building
|
The UNEP World Conservation Monitoring Centre (WCMC) continues to refine a prototype World Database on Ecological Corridors (WDEC) and pilot test its functionality with country leads. In 2026/27, with support from the Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative (Y2Y), WCMC will expand outreach to potential piloting countries and guide them through a process of submitting corridor information.
