Film show the differents ecosystems of Ecuador: dry forest, tropical rain forest, mangroves, vulcanic, etc. and its unique biodiversity. The numerous protected areas of Ecuador are described: Cotopaxi, Galapagos, Machalilla, Podocarpus, Sangay and Yasuni as are the ecological reserves of Manglares-Churute, Cotacachi-Cayapas and Manglares-Churute and the biological reserve of Limoncocha and the faunal production reserves. The film concludes with the national recreation areas of Cajas and of El Boliche.
