Sierra Nevada creativamente

Presentation of the conservation strategy developped for the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Historical sustainable use of this area is described. Explanations about the reason of the land degradation when the forest is widely destructed in the 1970th for the marijuana cultivation. The conservation strategy of the Sierra Nevada is a new way of enderstanding participation. It is looking for a common agenda and for a basic agreements among the different social groups. This is the basis for a management and development plan for the Sierra Nevada.
