Union Portal was designed and successfully launched in November 2013. Since that time, features have been streamlined and improved. The display of membership dues under organisational profiles on the Portal has been completed and Members are able to view their own payments statues as well as make credit card payments for outstanding balances via the Portal. Members are also able to update their expertise allowing for more effective networking across IUCN membership. The Portal continues to be supported by a data policy which is maintained up-to-date, as well as various user-guides and support tools.
What challenges have you encountered in implementing this Resolution and what measures have you taken to overcome them?:
Various issues with the use of the Portal have made its uptake harder than expected. User guides and internal marketing efforts are trying to change this.
