Convene stakeholders/Networking24-30 April 2015, CEESP supported the the Inter-religious Climate & Ecology Network to host its second global conference on faith, climate and the environment. Contributions were also provided by the IUCN Marine and Polar Division and by the IUCN Naitonal office of Thailand. Three events were held back to back: i) A-Z workshop on climate change at the Woljeongsa Buddhist Temple in Pyeongchang....
Convene stakeholders/NetworkingCEESP's FBO focal point serves on a three person international interfaith liaison committee between the global FBOs and the UNFCCC Secretariat
Education/Communication/Raising awarenessThe CEESP focal point on faith and spirituality met with the IUCN Director General's office to consider Faith based contributions for the 2016 WCC. The design highlights / amplifies the Papal Encyclical, "Laudato Si", the most influential faith-based theological and analytical document yet to be released on environment, poverty, political economy and climate change.
Policy influencing/advocacyCEESP FBO Chair has met with the Secretariats of both UNFCCC and UNCBD on constituency coordination and contributions to the COPs and intersessionals.
Policy influencing/advocacyCEESP has established three list servs for Faith Based Organisations (FBOs) working on climate advocacy and environmental conservation. This is directly linked to advocacy by FBOs at UNFCCC and UNCBD. CEESP appointed a Chair for the newly established Specialist Group on Faith, Spirituality, Nature Conservation and Climate Justice.

Resolution has been actively worked on in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. IUCN Regional and National offices have been involved as well as various Division in Gland. CEESP has established a coordinating Specialist Group. Newsletter item published on ICE 2 in the CEESP Newsletter, June 2015. FBO work featuring at several of the RCFs in 2015.

Education/Communication/Raising awarenessCEESP is exploring with UNCBD Secretariat how to coordinate FBO participation at COP13 in Mexico in 2016. This again will be built around the contribution of the Papal Encyclical and the momentum of interfaith cooperation.
Education/Communication/Raising awarenessCEESP will work with the Director General's office on the design, consultations and constituency mobilisation for WCC 2016 in Hawai'i
Policy influencing/advocacyFBOs will be convening in Paris for on-site and off-site lobbying and advocacy, coordination and awareness-raising. CEESP will contribute to the information systems and convening of the FBO caucus within the UNFCCC COP21.
