ActionDescription
Capacity-buildingCB activities on land-use planning policies were implemented in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific as part of the BIOPAMA Programme. The establishment of BIOPAMA's Regional Reference Information Systems will strengthen this process.
Capacity-buildingExpand CB activities to other regions beyond ACP Countries. Finalize development of a project on this issue with SUR.
Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken: 
It is early to assess all results; however some countries in the ACP regions are considering including this issue in their national legislation.
What challenges have you encountered in implementing this Resolution and what measures have you taken to overcome them?: 
A new project is under negotiation with SUR to promote implementation in South America.
