Convene stakeholders/NetworkingInput from WCPA members and other experts was obtained to develop a Best Practice Guidelines on Ecological Restoration for Protected Areas.
Education/Communication/Raising awarenessWCPA and Parks Canada have actively promoted the use of Best Practice Guidelines on Ecological Restoration for Protected Areas.
Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken: 
A Best Practice Guidelines (BPG) on Ecological Restoration for Protected Areas was published in 2012.
Principles identified by this BPG have communicated and promoted in the CBD process.
What challenges have you encountered in implementing this Resolution and what measures have you taken to overcome them?: 
A project for supporting, thorugh Capacity Development, the practical application of the BPG on Ecological Restoration was developed but securing the funding has been unsucessful.
