Field activitiesAs an official member of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the Center for Communication and Sustainable Development for All (CECOSDA) carried on advocacy activities to promote certification of Non-Timber Forest Products (NTFPs) as a market-based tool to support environmentally sensitive production practices in the forest industry throughout the National territory of Cameroon. Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken: 
CECOSDA worked in collaboration with COPAL association and targeted the community forest of Batchenga in order to encourage village leaders to open up to the evaluation and certification of local systems in other to promote sustainable development within their communities. Ten 10 members of COPAL and about eight (8) local leaders took part in the advocacy activity.

Education/Communication/Raising awarenessCreate a professional network of experts in Environment, forestry and certification to bring together experts workshops and seminars like CECOSDAPRO and CECOSDAPRO+ Networks (http://www.cecosda.org/index.php/en/component/content/article/2-non-categorise/451-reseau-des-professionnels-cecosdapro) with the aim to get more scientific knowledge so as to communicate for awareness raising.
