Convene stakeholders/NetworkingIUCN ARO continues to facilitate the activities of the range states for the gyps vultures through supporting the Regional Steering Committee for the Conservation of South Asian Vultures and in working together with the SSC, Birdlife and Government and NGO members across India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken: 
The outcome of supporting the range states through the Regional Initiative has led to action on banning the use of diclofenac, a veterinary drug which has been the prime cause of mortality in the gyps vulture species. In addition, there have been country level action plans developed including ecosystem valuation of services provided by vultures
What challenges have you encountered in implementing this Resolution and what measures have you taken to overcome them?: 
There has been a challenge in finding funding for support the regional aspects of the implementation of this Resolution. IUCN Asia regional office was not successful in submitting a PIF for a regional initiative to the GEF. However, there are efforts underway to identify other sources of funding including the EU.
