The IUCN Cambodia and Thailand Country Offices have recently launched a transboundary dolphin conservation project, which includes the Irawaddy Dolphin (one of the species also targeted by this Recommendation).

IUCN Asia regional office will continue to explore possibilities of supporting the implementation of this Recommendation through ongoing initiatives such MFF, South Asia hydrodiplomacy and others towards identifying synergies for supporting Governments in addressing conservation of these cetacean species
