Convene stakeholders/NetworkingIUCN co-hosted a ministerial roundtable on the Bonn Challenge in March 2015 with the Governments of Germany and Norway and WRI. IUCN supported members in their participation in the Latin American Bonn Challenge ministerial roundtable, hosted by El Salvador, in August 2015.
FundraisingA number of funding proposals were developed and approved.
Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken: 
60 million hectares have been committed to the Bonn Challenge 150 mil ha by 2020 target with the number expected to reach at least 80 mil ha by the end of 2015. More than 25 countries and sub-national jurisdictions are being supported to define commitments and restoration opportunities and lay the groundwork for implementing forest landscape restoration. The first private sector commitment has been made. A suite of tools have been produced. Progress is being made on the ground already in such countries as the United States and El Salvador, among others. The Bonn Challenge is recognized in international policy fora as an important target which contributes to implementation of the CBD, UNFCCC and UNCCD.
