The South Georgia Habitat Restoration Project : final report
Description
Introduced mammalian predators are one of the greatest threats to wildlife worldwide; this is especially so at the sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia. This publication reports on the conclusion of the five-year (2011-2015) operational phase of the eradication of rodents from South Georgia, undertaken to restore the millions of seabirds (and other species) lost to rats over the last 240 years.
