Waste Oil Management Guidelines under development, with draft guidelines, management plan, and operational protocols delivered for utilization by the utilities, MNRD, and EPA.
What challenges have you encountered in implementing this Resolution and what measures have you taken to overcome them?: 
The contracting process took a longer time than planned due to drafting limitations by in-country personnel. The number of applicants for the consultancy were also very limited following advertisement by MEC/MNRD.
Identify and briefly describe what future actions are planned for the implementation of this Resolution: 
Future ActionDescription
Capacity-buildingEner-G to conduct training associated with waste oil management recommendations outlined in management plan, audit report, workplan, and associated project documents for all relevant personnel (MEC, KAJUR, MNRD, and EPA.)
Field activitiesProcurement of containment equipment and removal of waste oil stored in MEC tanks will be planned for 2018.
Policy influencing/advocacyReview, approval, and gazetting of new waste oil management policies, including procurement policies, site management, fuel grade requirements, and other fossil fuel/energy generation-related issues are being developed.
