Gorilla Doctors has funded and provided scholarships to wildlife and conservation leaders from Uganda, Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo in Wildlife Health and Management to better care for natural resources.

Gorilla Doctors received a small grant from the Embassy of United States of America in Rwanda to develop a communication tool to raise awareness about the hygiene and sanitation in front-line communities around Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda

Gorilla Doctors implements USAID-PREDICT activities of disease surveillance in humans, rodents, bats and non-human primates in and around protected areas in the Great Lakes region of Africa by collection and analysis of samples targeting highly virulent viruses

Gorilla Doctors was part of the lobbying groups that influenced United States government to recognize the plight of Eastern lowland gorillas amidst the insecurity in Democratic Republic of Congo

Logistical challenge has been a big one. Gorilla Doctors aims at raising funds locally to supplement the resource envelope.
