Planning discussions (teleconference and in person meetings in Gland) held between resolution focal points and IUCN Secretariat; broadening of Task Team membership to include members from the primary forest group convened in the last quadrennial, as well as new members to achieve better representation of IUCN Commissions and from important constituencies re: primary forests; compiling background documentation for Task Team members to review; producing draft TOR for approval by Task Team.
