We are tackling marine plastic litter:
On going projects in the Baltic Sea and Mediterranean sea, both are composed of a technical component and a policy component (the aim of this 2 projects is to assess the total plastic influx from riparian countries, per sector, pathway and type of plastic and use this knowledge to target appropriate action in the defined hotspots of pollution)
Synergies with other Organizations and Research centers.
Working in Plastic Footprint Tools.
Working in Policy Gap Analysis.
Researching impacts of plastic in ice formation and melting.
Impacts of plastic in biodiversity.
