Description and results/achievements of activities:
Establishment of a replacement solar system for Silver's Eco Bed & Breakfast was an additional component of the grant, as the initial structure and all power had been destroyed by Cyclone Winston. 1.2kW of solar PV have been installed, along with wiring and storage to accommodate the needs of the business and provide additional power supply for members of the community requiring phone charging facilities and lighting for group activities.

Field activities
Description and results/achievements of activities:
On Koro Island, one of the most heavily damaged areas during Cyclone Winston in 2016, much of the established flora was decimated by the storm surges and Category 5 winds. This led to Silver's Eco Bed & Breakfast submitting a proposal for the formation of a nursery to re-establish both mangroves and key endemic terrestrial plant species, with over 2,000 seedlings planted.
