Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken:
the last few years in Canada, non-First Nations have come out in greater numbers in support of indigenous rights to have control over their land and to exercise their rights that have been enshrined in the UN Declaration on the Rights of indigenous peoples. It is gratifying that the United Nations has come out strongly in instructing Canada to halt construction of a dam that interferes with indigenous rights. I am also pleased that the UN is referring to
International Convention Against all forms of racial discrimination as being applicable in the struggle of indigenous people
