The UNGA has established an Intergovernmental Conference (IGC) to negotiate a new implementing agreement under UNCLOS. ECO urged the NZ government to support the IGC and to support an agreement that allows for teh establishment on MPAs.
The provisions 1 and 3 have been completed but provisions 2 and 4 are relevant to the IGC process. |
