The Working Group established by the IUCN Council pursuant to Resolution WCC-2016-Res-003 submitted a proposal to Council which approved it in March 2019 for the purpose of consulting IUCN Members online and during the Regional Conservation Forums held in 2019. The proposal as approved by Council is attached herewith. The proposal was presented by Council members at each of the 11 Regional Forums between May and November 2019. A consultation page on the Union Portal was opened for comments until 15 September 2019. All comments made about the proposal were transmitted to Council's Governance and Constituency Committee in October 2019.
