Topis Contreras MacBeath (SSC Freshwater Conservation Committee co-Chair) and I joined a cross-cutting SSC meeting which included discussions on the possibility of developing a Task Force on 'Inland Pools and Springs.’

These are very preliminary discussions, and the idea has been raised with the SSC Chair, but no other progress has been made thus far.
