Education/Communication/Raising awareness
|
Awarness and education on the said resolution have been organized taking some IUCN CEC members and NGOs like Wildroots International based in India. Basically the students of different levels were taken into the awareness program. Local people of some activity areas were also involved into this program. Sharing of knowledge and data on illegal trade through the web was done between other IUCN constituents and external organizations.

Field activities

I personally visited some sites of trading and gathered some data on the issue from others to understand the trends of illegal trading. It is evident that many native species are being sold by changing their names and using code names.
