Education/Communication/Raising awarenessAwarness and education on the said resolution have been organized taking some IUCN CEC members and NGOs like Wildroots International based in India. Basically the students of different levels were taken into the awareness program. Local people of some activity areas were also involved into this program. Sharing of knowledge and data on illegal trade through the web was done between other IUCN constituents and external organizations. On-going
Field activitiesI personally visited some sites of trading and gathered some data on the issue from others to understand the trends of illegal trading. It is evident that many native species are being sold by changing their names and using code names. On-going
Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken: 
It is found that people are not well aware about the issues. But, the young people and students are very much interested for doing something if they get the chance. We got some mere success to motivate the collectors and traders not to get involved. But, the result is not satisfactory. We need more efforts.
What challenges have you encountered in implementing this Resolution and what measures have you taken to overcome them?: 
Lack of proper guidelines from the Secretariat is the main constraint in this issue. It is necessary to work as a team taking all the focal points of this resolution at a time. I tried my best to consult with the commission members and external persons working on this field to share the workflow.

Future ActionDescription
Convene stakeholders/NetworkingNetworking is essential with all the components. Collective actions are essential to get positive result. All the focal points of this resolution need to act as a team and try to make a network with all other components. We should take into action the online shopping platforms and collaborate with them.
