Education/Communication/Raising awarenessThe CCB network aims to establish and develop contacts between engaged citizens in all the Baltic Sea countries. The CCB Our Common Baltic course (OCB) is a fantastic way for engaged volunteers to get involved, to learn more about the problems and solutions for the Baltic Sea catchment and to meet and learn from each other’s experiences and on specific issues in respective national and local situation. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, also in 2021 the OCB course was held online via Zoom as a series of 6 thematic webinars from 27 August to 15 October. These thematic webinars covered the topic of cross-cutting issues, biodiversity and nature protection, hazardous substances, maritime activities and eutrophication. Moreover, the program offered a space to look at environmental problems in connection to social and ethical issues, and why this awareness, including our gender norms, matters for some of the deepest shifts we hope to support in this work, our move from ego to eco. We also had a significant focus on the Theory of Change and Results Based Management, with the support of two experts from Transformancy.On-going
