Description and results/achievements of activities:
IUCN Secretariat/DG has undertaken many activities with the aim of informing members of threats from IAS. A key part of this is the support it has provided (incl. through projects) to the SSC in the publication of the IUCN Environmental Impact Classficaiton for Alien Taxa (EICAT), which is an IUCN Standard, and in the undertaking and publishing of EICAT assessments, and in training on its application. Another key part is this is the technical and scientific support the secretariat is providing, alongside the SSC, to the European Commission for the implementation of the EU IAS regulation. Parts of this work is to produce materials to inform stakeholders on the impacts and management of IASwhich can be found on the Commissions IAS webpage.

Describe any challenges encountered in implementing this Resolution and the measures taken
Resource mobilisiation to support the ISSG for EICAT assessments. We have partly overcome these through alignment of current project activities.

The first batch of IUCN EICAT global assessments are now available on the IUCN Global Invasve Species Database. All of the outputs produce by IUCN to support the EC in the implementation of teh EU IAS Regulation can be found on teh Commission IAS page.
