Describe the results/achievements of the activities
The Caribbean Members Committee has met in a couple of occasions to coordinate efforts and propose the drafting of a strategy to advance implementation of the Res 021.
On February 2022, a Task Force for implementation of the Res021 was assigned, conformed by the Regional Councillor, and representatives of Grupo Jaragua, Instituto de Derecho Ambiental de República Dominicana, Fundación Antonio Núñez, and the Ministry of Environment (DR).
On the first week of August 2023, a follow up meeting to revisit the Res 021 was held with the Caribbean Regional Committee's Chair, Vice Chair, and the Regional Councilor. It was advised that the approval of the strategy to advance implementation of the Res 021 remains pending. An agreement was made to schedule a coordination meeting with Res 021 members' Task Force, to discuss action points and next steps.

Future actions / activities needed for the implementation of this Resolution
a. The Caribbean Committee Members will review and approve the draft strategy for the Res 021.
b. The steps from the draft strategy, once reviewed and approved will be implemented. The timeline and sequence of steps for the strategy will be described in the final version of the strategy.
The above remains the same for 2023 reporting period. Concrete action points to advance the implementation strategy are expected to be obtained from the Task Force's coordination meeting.
