The poaching of rhinos have gone down in the Ngulia reserve and now there are more rhinos living there than ever, from 64 in 2014 to 140 in 2022. The technology used in Ngulia is planned to be distributed to other parks around Kenya. Intelligent cameras that can identify animals and humans have been improved (can for example detect objects on a distance of 100 m instead of 20 m)and implemented.
