In 2022 the SSC Freshwater Conservation Committee co-Chairs joined a cross-cutting SSC meeting which included discussions on the possibility of developing a Task Force on 'Inland Pools and Springs.’ The idea of such a Task Force was also raised with the SSC Chair. Thre have been no further developments on this.
