The constituents are promoting at different levels (scientific and political) the importance of conservation and restoration of dry forests in the Region.
The FCBC during 2024 has carried out fundraising activities to monitor the current status and change of BS at the regional level. Fundamental knowledge for the objectives of the resolution.
A policy brief draft was created. This draft's intention was to disseminate relevant data on TDF actual conditions in the region and its importance regarding people, climate and biodiversity. It was shared among stakeholders for their revision and comments.
What challenges/obstacles have been encountered in the implementation of this Resolution and how were they overcome :
Constituents that promote this Resolution had very busy agendas during the year, which translated in the delay of the planned activities for 2024.
