In 2024, there was no progress made in this resolution related to The Monitoring Centre of the Escazu Agreement established on April 22, 2022 due to a lack of funding resources.

To ensure its continuity, it is necessary to fundraise, promote and advocate policies, as well as the creation of capacities together with strategic allies at the national level. These actions will need to be coordinated with IUCN member institutions at the national and regional levels.
