Actions:
- IUCN-wide consultation on Nature-Positive with particular focus on species (with SSC) and ecosystems (with CEM);
- Development and publication of CEM-led "Nature Positive for Business"; ongoing work of SSC Global Biodiversity Framework Taskforce.
Results:
Operative clause 1a is reflected in KBA Standard (https://portals.iucn.org/library/node/46259) and its implementation through the KBA Programme and Partnership (https://www.keybiodiversityareas.org/)
Operative clauses 1b and 1c are reflected in ongoing work on "Nature Positive" approaches from SSC, CEM, and IUCN-wide
Operative clause 2 was completed with adoption of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework in late 2022
Operative clause 3 is an open and ongoing invitation to donors
